This organization is working with us to make school supply shopping as simple as one click! Simply click the link below, and supplies will be delivered to Eddy over the summer with your student's name on it. We will provide the supplies on the first or second day of school when the classroom teacher helps students start to organize their materials. This is of course optional, and you may certainly still go shopping for supply lists if you prefer.
The supply school store closes June 30, so that materials may be organized and shipped to Eddy over the summer.

Hello Eddy Families and Students,
All Eddy students are invited to participate in the New England Math League Competition next week. This is free of charge, takes place entirely during the school day, and is open to all third, fourth, and fifth graders. If you would like your student to participate, please complete the sign up at: https://bit.ly/EddyMathContest2026. There is an optional practice test during the school day on Monday, May 4, and the contest is a written math competition on Friday, May 8; this all occurs during the school day. The top three student scores at each grade level will be submitted to the New England Math League for consideration to represent Eddy Elementary across New England schools!

Dear Stony Brook and Eddy Families,
We are getting excited for the upcoming Brewster parade this Sunday (5/3) and have been very hard at work creating an amazing float to represent our schools! This year's theme is "Brewster Beach Day"!
We are asking for donations of individually wrapped candy to share with parade viewers. If you are able to contribute, please send in bags of candy to your school’s main office by Friday afternoon.
We are also looking for as many families as possible to walk with us in the parade! It’s a wonderful way to show school spirit and be part of this fun community event. Every family that signs up HERE to walk will be entered into a raffle for a prize! Of course, anyone is welcome to join us on the day of the parade—just remember that all children must be accompanied by an adult. The parade will step off from the Eddy Elementary parking lot at 1:00 PM, traveling west on Route 6A to Swamp Road. If you plan on walking, we will dress in blues, greens, and purples. Beach hats, shades, and floaties are also welcome.
Let’s show the town what an awesome group our Stony Brook and Eddy community is!
Thank you for your support,
Steve and Carolan

Dear Families,
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up (May 4–8), and we’re excited to celebrate our incredible teachers with a fun “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” theme!
The PTO is organizing a week of small, daily treats along with a special celebration at the end of the week. To make this happen, we’re asking for your help with donations:

You’re welcome to sign up for as much or as little as you’d like—every contribution makes a difference!
📦 Drop-off: Food items can be sent in with your child or dropped off at school any time before your assigned day (all items should arrive by 7:30 AM on the day they’re needed).

Get ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to build your child's home library with new books they'll dive into again and again.
The easiest way to let your child shop at the fair independently is by creating an eWallet. It's easy to set up and easy for others to add funds.
Create an eWallet, and you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to Share the Fair- the giving program that supports students at our school who need help buying books. Consider participating so that no child leaves the fair empty -handed!
Here is everything you need to know about the book fair:
DATES: March 16th-20th
LOCATION: Eddy Elementary Library
FAMILY EVENT SCHEDULE AND LOCATION: 7:30-8:00 a.m M-F
2:00-3:00 p.m M, T, W 2:00-6:00 p.m TH 11:30 a.m - 3:00 p.m F
For full details, and to create an eWallet visit our school's book fair home page:
https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/eddyelementaryschool
More than ever, we need to get students reading. Studies prove that children with more books at home have higher-level reading skills, and attain more years of education overall.
Happy reading,
Mrs. Lister & Mrs. Meyer

Please disregard flyer that was just sent; correct flyer is attached!
Thank you!
