Picture Retake Day - Eddy Elementary WEDNESDAY 11/5/25

Retake Day is open and free for:

1. Anyone who had their photo taken and wants a retake (if they purchased images or not).

2. Anyone who had been sent a request from us to have a retake image taken (due to quality control of the original image).

3. Anyone who was absent on Picture Day or has enrolled since then and needs their first image taken.

Hello Eddy and Stony Brook Families,

Tomorrow, Friday 10/31, we will have an orange and black spirit day! We hope you will join us.

Also, we are holding a Hurricane Melissa Donation Drive, to support residents of Jamaica, who were recently devestated by Hurricane Melissa. We will accept donations (non-perishable canned and boxed foods, bags of white or brown rice, diapers, peronsal care items, first aid supplies, batteries, and bug repellent) in the Eddy lobby until next Friday, November 7 at 10am. Thank you for your consideration to help those in need.

Good Morning Stony Brook and Eddy Families!

It's hard to believe that fall conferences are happening already! We are looking for donations so we can fuel up the teachers as they spend extra hours on Thursday and Friday, chatting with all of us about our star students!

Thursday we will provide the staff with quick snacks for the evening. For the half day on Friday, lunch has generously been donated by Lower Cape Electric and the Reeves Family!!

Please drop off items to the appropriate school that you have signed up for by noon Thursday October 23rd and for the lunch October 24 by 10:00 am.

Now that the school year is underway, it is essential that we ensure the accuracy of the contact information in our information system. Maintaining up-to-date information helps us effectively communicate with families and staff across the district.

To support this effort, we will be conducting a test of our communication system tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16 at 5:30 p.m. This test will include:

• A phone call to your listed priority contact number, and

• A text message (for those who have opted in to receive texts).

Eddy Open House will be Tuesday, 9/16/25 from 5:30-6:30pm. Students (and siblings) are welcome to attend, and must be supervised at all times by an adult. The format will be a true open house, where you may pop into different classrooms to meet various staff members on your own schedule. You are welcome to attend for some or all of the time. We are excited this year to welcome many community-based organizations that will be helpful and relevant to Eddy students and families. Hello Eddy Families! A reminder that tonight, September 10, 2025, there is a Brewster PTO meeting at 7pm at Stony Brook Elementary School. The agenda can be found here, and if you cannot make it in person, here is the Zoom link to login remotely. Also, this week a flyer will be going home to order mums as a fundraiser for the PTO. Each mum order costs $10, and helps support programming for our schools and students. A big thank you to Agway of Cape Cod for their support of this fundraiser!
