Dear Nauset Parents, Guardians, and Staff,
Now that the school year is underway, it is essential that we ensure the accuracy of the contact information in our information system. Maintaining up-to-date information helps us effectively communicate with families and staff across the district.
To support this effort, we will be conducting a test of our communication system tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16 at 5:30 p.m. This test will include:
A phone call to your listed priority contact number, and
A text message (for those who have opted in to receive texts).
If you do not receive the test call or text, please refer to the instructions below for updating your contact information.
Thank you for helping us keep our communication system accurate and reliable.
Sincerely,
Glenn Brand, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
Here are the step-by-step directions for updating information in ASPEN.

Dear Nauset Families,
As we turn the page to another school year - marked by cooler evenings, new beginnings and a shared sense of excitement, it is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I write to you for the first time as Superintendent of the Nauset Public Schools. I am honored to serve our incredible school communities and to work alongside our dedicated educators, talented students, and supportive families as we begin the 2025–26 school year.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of being a Nauset parent myself. My wife and I are now proud parents of a Nauset High School graduate, and during that time I had the opportunity to meet many students and families across our wider school community. I quickly came to appreciate the passion, dedication, and commitment that so many bring to education here. It is my intention to help lead both the immediate and long-term future of our schools—ensuring that all seven of them remain student-centered, safe, supportive of social-emotional well-being, and inspiring places for learning.
The start of a school year is always filled with energy, possibility, and hope. For me, as your new Superintendent, it is also a time to listen and learn from those who know our schools best. In the coming months, I look forward to visiting each school and meeting students, families, and community members to hear your hopes and priorities for the district.
I also understand that the start of school comes with a lot of important information to navigate. To make this easier, we have created a centralized webpage (linked here) where you can find details on busing, handbooks, school start times, and more. https://www.nausetschools.org/o/nps/page/new-school-year-information
Thank you for welcoming me into the Nauset community. I look forward to meeting you and working together to make this a great year for our students.
Sincerely,
Glenn Brand, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
