A great learning experience today and tomorrow as our second grade students get a visit from Kimberley Pearson, a local paleontologist. Here are a few pictures from Ms. Gilbert's class this morning with Ms. Pearson explaining various types of fossils. This ties in directly with our current EL Education core literacy module that focuses on fossils!! Thanks to our second grade team for making this community connection.

Great job today by Mrs. Boudreau's 2nd grade students for their EL Education end of module celebration! Thank you to the many parents/caregivers and family members for attending today's celebration. The students' work displayed tremendous depth of knowledge, application of skills and concepts, and ability to articulate and explain similarities and differences among schools around the world.

A special thanks to the Town of Brewster for involving us in their snowplow naming contest! Brewster DPW and Town Manager, Peter Lombardi, did amazing work on the graphics. Our winning names were "Frank, Snow Day Destroyer, Snow Ninja, and Brewster Blizzard Buster."
Winning classes include Teacher Justine's PK, Mr. Winston's Kindergarten, Mrs. O'Shea's Grade One and Ms. Gilbert's Grade Two classes!
