Congratulations, STONY BROOK ELEMENTARY families…
Your 1st Day School Supplies store is now open. Yes, it feels early. And that’s actually the point. Ordering now means you can check school supplies off your list before summer even begins. No scrambling in July. No store runs in August. Just the exact supplies teachers requested, handled in a few simple clicks. It only takes a few minutes to select our school and choose your child’s grade. Everything will arrive packaged and ready for the first day. There’s something nice about heading into summer knowing one big thing is already done.

Brewster in Bloom Parade information!!

Dear Stony Brook and Eddy Families,
We are getting excited for the upcoming Brewster parade this Sunday (5/3) and have been very hard at work creating an amazing float to represent our schools! This year's theme is "Brewster Beach Day"!
We are asking for donations of individually wrapped candy to share with parade viewers. If you are able to contribute, please send in bags of candy to your school’s main office by Friday afternoon.
We are also looking for as many families as possible to walk with us in the parade! It’s a wonderful way to show school spirit and be part of this fun community event. Every family that signs up HERE to walk will be entered into a raffle for a prize! Of course, anyone is welcome to join us on the day of the parade—just remember that all children must be accompanied by an adult. The parade will step off from the Eddy Elementary parking lot at 1:00 PM, traveling west on Route 6A to Swamp Road. If you plan on walking, we will dress in blues, greens, and purples. Beach hats, shades, and floaties are also welcome.
Let’s show the town what an awesome group our Stony Brook and Eddy community is!
Thank you for your support,
Steve and Carolan

Dear Families,
Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up (May 4–8), and we’re excited to celebrate our incredible teachers with a fun “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” theme!
The PTO is organizing a week of small, daily treats along with a special celebration at the end of the week. To make this happen, we’re asking for your help with donations:
🍎 Snacks & drinks for each day of the week can be signed up for using our SignUpGenius HERE
🎁 Small teacher gifts (to be distributed at the end of the week) can be purchased through our Amazon Wishlist HERE
You’re welcome to sign up for as much or as little as you’d like—every contribution makes a difference!
📦 Drop-off: Food items can be sent in with your child or dropped off at school any time before your assigned day (all items should arrive by 7:30 AM on the day they’re needed).
Thank you for helping us make this a special and memorable week for our teachers!
Warmly,
The PTO
