Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we welcome the fall season, we’re looking to bring the festive spirit into our school—and we need your help!

We’re asking for donations of fall-themed decorations to help brighten our cafeteria and hallways, as well as to decorate for the upcoming Fall Social. Items can be real or artificial and may include:
Pumpkins (real or decorative)
Yellow and orange mums
Any other fall-inspired décor

Donated items can be dropped off at the school office starting Wednesday, October 8th.

In addition, we’re seeking chaperones for the Fall Social, taking place on Friday, October 17th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. If you're available to help supervise and make the evening fun and safe for all our students, we’d love to have you! All chaperone's must be CORI'ed in order to volunteer for the event. Please contact the Main Office to complete the CORI process prior to the event. If you already completed the process, also contact the Main Office to confirm if it is current and up-to-date.

A SignUpGenius link will be posted soon on the PTO Website for chaperone sign-up.

Thank you for supporting our school and helping us create a warm, welcoming environment for all!

Dear Nauset Parents, Guardians, and Staff,

Now that the school year is underway, it is essential that we ensure the accuracy of the contact information in our information system. Maintaining up-to-date information helps us effectively communicate with families and staff across the district.

To support this effort, we will be conducting a test of our communication system tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16 at 5:30 p.m. This test will include:

  • A phone call to your listed priority contact number, and

  • A text message (for those who have opted in to receive texts).

If you do not receive the test call or text, please refer to the instructions below for updating your contact information.

Thank you for helping us keep our communication system accurate and reliable.

Sincerely,
Glenn Brand, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools

Just introduced the new NRMS Rocks House Cup competition. Every student and teacher learned what House they represent: Hurricane, Tornado, Blizzard, or Tsunami. School Spirit was "rocking" the auditorium. The competition begins September 26. #NausetROCKS #SchoolSpirit

Dear Incoming Grade 6 Parents and Guardians,
We look forward to seeing any remaining grade 6 families who have yet to pick-up their student's school issued Chromebook tomorrow, Friday, August 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM.
This is the final Chromebook pickup for incoming grade 6 students before school begins on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

To help us make the process as smooth and efficient as possible, we ask that you share a copy of your signed AU/TUA Agreement at the time of pickup.

You can share in either of the following ways:
A printed copy of your confirmation message, or
A screenshot of the message confirming you are “all set” (see example image below).

Sharing proof of completion will ensure that everyone can pick up their device without delay, as we will be unable to verify, in real time, any signed agreements during pick-up time. We will have a small team distributing Chromebooks tomorrow, and we appreciate your patience and support as we work to serve all families efficiently.

You can access and complete the technology agreement here: AU/TUA Agreement Link

Thank you for your partnership and support in helping us prepare for a successful year ahead.

Technology Form Confirmation

Hello NRMS Students & Families!

My name is Jennie Ryan and I am the Music & Chorus teacher at Nauset Regional Middle School. I wanted to be in touch about the NRMS Drama Society for those interested in participating.

We are holding an info meeting next Wednesday, September 3rd (yes, the second day of school!) from after school until 4:30pm - those who attend should arrange for a ride home at that time.

We will be talking about this year's musical production: Beetlejuice Jr!! Those interested in auditioning will receive an audition packet, as well as an NRMS Drama Society Constitution & Contract. Those who cannot attend the info meeting but would still like to audition for the show are welcome to stop by the music room (112) any time and grab the various packets. The info meeting is also open to students interested in CREW: Set Design & Construction, Costume Design & Construction, Lighting, Sound & all other Backstage people.

Auditions for Beetlejuice will take place the following week, Sept. 10 & 11 (only attend one) after school with possible callbacks on Sept. 12.

You are also encouraged to join the NRMS Drama Society Google Classroom - audition materials including practice and performance tracks will be posted there. The classroom code is mbwkscz.

Please don't hesitate to respond to me at ryanjennie@nausetschools.org or the Drama Society Director, Karen Hepinstall - hepinstallk@nausetschools.org - with any other questions.

Thanks all! 🎭
