In celebration of Things Fall Apart, a Nigerian novel by Chinua Achebe, IB English students paraded their full-body EGWUGWU costumes representing sacred spirits of the ancestors in Igbo culture that have strong spiritual powers and are feared by the people.

The Orleans Polar Plunge is coming up! This year, the Nauset Student Council has been planning and putting together the Special Olympics Polar Plunge. We hope you will consider being part of a team. You can name yourselves, have a costume for your group, and start fundraising. If you are a part of a sport or a club, encourage them to get involved! • Sign up by filling out the form on the Special Olympics website that is attached via the QR code on the poster. • The link also has the ability to simply accept a donation. • Join us at Skaket Beach at 10:30 on New Year's Day to cheer on the Nauset crowd. • Prizes for the best costume, most money raised individually, and raised as a group.
