Students are learning circuity and programing with Makey Makey
Fourth grade technology students who attend Eddy Elementary School in the Nauset Public School District are learning about circuitry using Makey-Makey kits funded through a grant awarded by MassCUE (Massachusetts Computer Using Educators). The grant was written by Dawn Steber to support all 5 of Nauset District's elementary schools in furthering their technology programs. The Makey-Makey kits give students the opportunity to use a variety of technology tools to design, problem solve, and create imaginative ways of understanding circuitry. These fourth grade students are learning this engineering design process so they can mentor second grade students at Stony Brook Elementary in May. It appears the students are learning firsthand how team problem-solving and collaboration can be a lot of fun!
