  • Wellfleet Shellfish Opportunity

Posted by Roberta Endich on 4/15/2021

S.P.A.T. , the non-profit organization that hosts the Wellfleet OysterFest, is granting a unique opportunity to a few serious-minded & hard-working students interested in the aquaculture industry as a business and a career.

Any young man or woman who would like to learn the ins and outs of the shellfishing business and be mentored by a shellfisherman or woman, please see Lisa Brown in B-204.

This is a wonderful opportunity to understand the shellfishery and the potential for making money either picking in the wild or working a grant. If you love the water, the idea of growing shellfish and being outside with nature, this is the job for you!

This is a mentorship, not a paid position.
