    Class of ‘22 Weekly Newsletter

“If we learn nothing else from this tragedy, we learn that life is short

and there is no time for hate.” -Sandy Dahl, widow of Flight 93 hero, on 9/11

    Hi ‘22 crew!

This year, as part of a move towards more direct communication, Class Officers will be sending out a sort of weekly update that will be attached to Mr. Fleming’s Friday email.

Here’s the situation at the moment:

A lot of things are still in the works, including athletics, assorted after school activities, and the school’s ventilation system. We’ll know more within the next few weeks.

Transportation is a major concern for after school programs in particular, so Student Govt is currently discussing how clubs can still be run, virtually or in person, given the variety of towns that Nauset students are from.

    Class Fundraising

Class fundraising will be tricky this year. Our options are limited, but at the moment we’re in contact with First Citizens Bank in Orleans and the Hinckley Home Center in Harwich; hopefully we’ll be able to organize a few car washes later in the year.

Any fundraiser suggestions are welcome and should be brought to Student Senate meetings on Wednesday mornings at 8:00 or should be sent to Class Officers or Advisors via school email.

    That’s all for now!

    Stay safe!
