Daria Rice MS, OTR/L: Daria has been an occupational therapist since 1996 and has worked for Nauset Public Schools since September, 2005. Prior to working in the Nauset District, she worked in school systems in Rhode Island, in addition to working with adults with neurological disabilities in a hospital setting. Daria specializes in life skill development for children in the middle and high school and also provides consultative services to agencies providing day habilitation and residential programs for adults with developmental disabilities. She has a strong background and interest in transition planning and supporting her students transition from the school setting to adult life in the community.
Michelle Regan MEd, OTR/L: Michelle has been an
occupational therapist since 2011 and has worked for Nauset Public Schools since
September, 2013. Prior to working in the Nauset District, she worked for Easter Seals
of MA servicing children with a variety of abilities and needs. Michelle has worked in
multiple settings including school systems, early intervention, home care, day habilitation
programs and nursing homes.
Carey Raimo MOT, OTR/L:Carey has been an Occupational Therapist since 2000 and has worked for the Nauset Public Schools since September, 2006. She enjoys involving her students in creative, fun, and meaningful activities when developing skills in their areas of need. In the Fall of 2009, Carey partnered with the Brewster Recreation Department to develop Brewster CAIRS (Children's Adaptive and Integrated Recreation Services). This program provides
opportunties for children with identified needs to participate in town run recreation activities with their peers. Additionally, Carey is involved in Adam's Camp Nantucket, a
1-week intensive therapy camp for children with identified needs, their siblings, and their parents.
Julie Edwards PT, DPT: Julie has been a Physical Therapist since2000. Julie received her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy in January 2009 from
Boston University. She has worked for the Nauset Public Schools since September 2006.
She enjoys working with children of all ages with all different abilities to assist them in
achieving their maximal potential and be successful in school and out in the community.
During the fall or 2013, Julie established the TOPS soccer program (Dennis Yarmouth
area) for children with disabilities. This program is open to children in the Nauset Public
School system.
