Beginning on September 6, 2018, we will offer free after school child care to all Wellfleet Elementary School students, K-5. The program will run from 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM on full school days and 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM on early release days. ASCC will follow the guidelines set forth by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Quality Standards for Public School Operated School-Age Child Care Programs. There will be time dedicated to homework, recreational activities, and enrichment activities.
Wellfleet Elementary School has students with a severe peanut allergy. Strict avoidance of peanuts and peanut products is the only way to prevent a life threatening allergic reaction. We are asking your assistance in providing students with a safe learning environment.

The Massachusetts Board of Elementary and Secondary Education has released the statewide testing schedule for students in grades 3, 4, & 5. The English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics computer-based tests will be administered between April 2nd – May 25th. The grade 5 Science & Technology/Engineering (STE) computer-based testing will be administered between April 4th – May 25th.
