Good afternoon EES Families,
Unfortunately, EES has sustained significant water damage due to a frozen sprinkler pipe that burst early Saturday morning. As I am sure you are aware, we are not alone. Several schools on the Cape suffered a similar situation. The cleanup and necessary repairs have begun, unfortunately, we will not be able to reopen the school tomorrow until we have a better idea of when these repairs will be completed. Tomorrow will be considered a "snow day" for the students. There will be NO school activities.
I will communicate further information as it becomes available tomorrow afternoon. I know this presents a huge inconvenience to our families and we will do all we can tomorrow to make sure you have the information you need to plan the rest of the week.
Thank you to Mike Chappel and Linda Burt for your tireless effort over the weekend. It is greatly appreciated !!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and stay tuned for more information tomorrow.
