Eligibility
- Students must meet various requirements to be eligible for
extracurricular activities (these are school activities that do NOT
receive an academic grade) such as athletics, cheerleading, debate,
driver education, etc.
- Students may not be failing more than one course during the
quarter in question (one full credit at the end of the year)
- "I" counts as an "F" until made-up
- Quarter grades are used for the first three quarters but FINAL
GRADES for the year are used in determining eligibility for the fall
season
- Maintain good citizenship
- Unsuitable behavior, during school or in the activity, will
result in suspension or expulsion from the activity
- Return all school equipment or the cost of replacement equipment
- A yearly physical examination by the school or family physician
is required
- To participate, you must also be registered as a student
and be present in school on the day of an event, performance, game,
meet, practice, etc.
Note: Those in sports must also meet all requirements of the M.I.A.A.
Note that all M.I.A.A. penalties are mandatory and not subject the local
appeal process.
