Concert Band, Percussion, The First Encounter Jazz Ensemble

Background and History:

Welcome to the home page of Nauset Regional High School's Band Program.

The Band Program has a long history of successes and accomplishments in music performance
and education on Cape Cod. Presently, there are four wind/percussion performance ensembles
at Nauset High School (see link below). Each group shares in the overall successes we have recently
enjoyed at regional and national (and international) festivals. The band program has increased to more
than one-tenth of the overall school population. Students from these ensembles are among the most
dedicated and committed in the school. They work together to create outstanding music and have
an esprit de corps that is continually growing and strengthening.

Disney World, Orland, Florida
International Music Festivals
Greater Boston Music Festival
Berklee High School Jazz Festival
All Cape Jazz Festival

Congratulations to the NRHS Concert Band, First Encounter Jazz Ensembles, Orchestra and Chorus.
All NRHS ensembles worked with Disney professionals in the Disney studios in Orlando this spring.
The groups wowed audiences in Disney World and Downtown Disney.
